Walk 19 Along the River Cherwell by Suzi&Malc from London, 31/12/2010
We have only done 1 walk so far, having received the box for Christmas. However, this walk along the canal, which happened to be frozen, provided us with the perfect countryside, winter setting. At the start and finish of this walk, in the village of Thrupp, is a small tea room which is not mentioned in the guide, but happens to be one of the best tea rooms we have ever been in. The coffee was "real", the tea was plentiful and the food was homemade and delicious. The walk was worth it for the tea room alone. We look forward to discovering more tea rooms from the walks in this guide.
