ALNWICK WALK by HelenS from Sheffield, 04/10/2010
Please be aware that Walk 10 in this book "Alnwick's Hulne Park" is NOT dog-friendly. Although the introduction says that dogs must be on leads, there are signs all over the entrance to the park stating strictly no dogs, and we were turned back by ground staff. Dogs are not permitted anywhere on the estate, as its main business is pheasants!

Walk 11 Breamish Valley by Howard from Leeds, 18/09/2011
This walk is not authorised and is not a right of way - this was confirmed with the National Park Office - we were only able to walk to Linhope Spout and back. Indeed at the start of the walk is a sign specific to the AA book re-inforcing that it should not be attempted PS Cragside (walk 20) is nearer 5 miles than the stated 3
