I bought 2 of these and really impressed. Used them Dec 2010 during the really bad snow and my paths were clear and stayed clear. I cleared most of the snow off then walked up and down twice with the salt stick and that was it. The path was clear and quickly. Just wish I knew what to refill them with abs where to get it from. They aren't cheap but last a while. Worth the money.

Its more than likely just salt hence the name! however you do get a resealable container to refill with normal salt when runs out so its a bargain!
